How NITH results work
Reading a roll number
A NITH roll number like 25BEC102 packs three pieces of information: the admission year (25), the branch code (BEC, for B.Tech Electronics and Communication) and the serial number (102). Branch codes include BEC, DEC, BCS, DCS, BME, BCE, BEE, BMA, BMS, BAR, BPH and BCH. The RD trace on this page uses the same code to find the same student across every year of study.
Grades, SGPI and CGPI
Every subject in a NIT Hamirpur result card carries a grade, and every semester shows an SGPI (semester grade point index). Your overall CGPI is the cumulative index across all completed semesters, and it is the number placement companies look at. The target CG calculator in each card works backwards from a CGPI goal to the SGPI you need next semester.
Frequently Asked Questions
How to check NITH results?
Enter your NITH roll number (for example 25BEC102) in the search box above. CampusConnect fetches your semester-wise NITH result from a cached mirror of the official results.nith.ac.in portal and shows every semester, subject and grade, along with your SGPI and CGPI.
Where can students find the official result portal for NIT Hamirpur?
The official result portal for NIT Hamirpur is results.nith.ac.in. However, during peak traffic times when a new semester result is announced, the official server may be slow. CampusConnect keeps an optimized, cached copy of NITH results that stays fast and available.
How do I view my NITH semester result using my roll number?
Simply type your roll number into the search field. The system decodes your roll number, traces your batch across years of study, and displays every semester result you have completed. RD tracing shows the same roll for each year, so you can see the full academic history in one place.
What should I do if my result is not visible on the portal?
If your result is missing, it may be because the academic section has not published it yet, or because your roll number was entered incorrectly. Check the spelling of your roll number and try again, or check back later. The official NIT Hamirpur website (nith.ac.in) publishes academic notices when results go live.
How can I calculate my CGPA for NIT Hamirpur placements?
Each result card includes a target CG calculator. Type the CGPI you want to reach and it computes the SGPI you need in your next semester, using your current semester-wise SGPI scores. If the target is already achieved or mathematically impossible, the calculator tells you.
Are NITH results public?
Yes. NIT Hamirpur publishes semester results by roll number on the official results portal, and CampusConnect mirrors those public results. No login is required to look up a result on this page.
When are NITH results declared?
NIT Hamirpur declares semester results on results.nith.ac.in after the exam cell publishes them, usually a few weeks after the end-of-semester exams. CampusConnect mirrors the portal continuously, so the moment a result appears on the official site, it can be looked up here.
How do I check a NIT Hamirpur result from a previous year?
The RD trace on this page follows the same roll number across every year of study. Enter your current roll number and the trace lists the same student under each year prefix, so you can open and compare semester results from previous years without remembering old roll formats.
