Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your Google account name, email and avatar, used to create your account.
• Your roll number and hostel, entered during onboarding to confirm you are a student.
• Your phone number only if you choose to add one.
• Whatever you post: items, lost or found reports, tech posts, comments and votes.

Who can see it

• Signed-in students see your name or chosen username, hostel, roll number and social links on what you post.
• Results and college corner pages are public, like the originals they mirror.
• Marketplace and lost & found posts are visible to anyone on campus who has signed in.
• Your email is never shown publicly. Contact happens inside the app.

Storage and cookies

Data lives on Supabase, a hosted Postgres database. Sessions last 30 days and use encrypted cookies. We do not sell data and we do not show ads.

Deleting your data

Write to campusconnect.nith@gmail.com from your NITH Google account and we delete your profile and your posts.
